Participation Options

Click here if your company already a member and you need an account.

Two mechanisms exist for participation within the DMF, as an individual participant or as a corporate member. The core differences between the two are these:

Participate as an individual – investigate and monitor at no cost

  • If a vendor or Systems Integrator  – then your company has a 90day trial period in which to investigate DMF and DMF corporate membership. After which you will be removed from the database.
  • If an I.T., RIM, or Security Professional, we welcome your participation
  • Participants have limited access and rights (can’t post, can’t vote, limited access, can’t speak at or sponsor events unless invited or you become a noted individual contributor).

Become a corporate DMF Member

  • Full DMF access rights, all people in your company have full rights, including voting and event participation.

Becoming A DMF Corporate Member

DMF membership is open to companies. Start by becoming a Corporate Member, invite your company peers to sign-up, and then get active by joining one or more of our initiatives, task forces, or committees and participating in the weekly telecons.

Use the DMF Corporate Membership Application Form if your company wants to become a new corporate member.

Once your company is a corporate member an unlimited number of employees may become individual members by completing the DMF Individual Member Registration Form. Your user id and password will be sent to you via e-mail, confirming your acceptance into the DMF.

Become an Individual Participant

To become a participant in the DMF complete the DMF Individual Participation Registration Form and select "individual" as the name of your company. Your user id and password will be sent to you via e-mail, confirming your acceptance into the DMF.

Become Active in DMF Programs

Once you are a member of the DMF you are eligible to join one or more of our committees and workgroups. All of these activities take place at our members-area operating portal. To access this portal you will need the user id and password that were e-mailed to you as part of the registration process.

Within the private operating portal you should visit the operations home page to see a list of all current groups, task forces, committees and weekly calls. To become actively involved in a workgroup click the small "join group" link near the top of the workgroup home page. This will send a request to the chairperson of that workgroup. In most cases you will receive an acceptance notification by e-mail within a day. You may repeat this process to join as many of the workgroups as you like.
